This technique requires tackle balance - light line, light wire or small hooks and smaller reels than traditional jigging methods.
But don't think these rods cannot handle big fish. There have been some incredible captures with this technique. Perfect for Snapper, Kingfish, Coral Trout, Trevally and a host of other pelagic or demersal species.
